Karl Ziegler is a principal study keyboardist, originally born in Ottawa, Canada. Despite being classically trained on piano from a young age, he found that his true interest was in popular music and in the last couple years has been involved in many different musical groups as both a performer and a writer of original material. His first experience with the music industry was with his band ’Another’ which he was the front man for in Aberdeen before moving away for university. He is currently active with other acts such LUCY and Porcelain (his own synth-pop band) in Manchester where he is studying at the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music.

Since starting the bass guitar aged twelve, music has been a major part of Jacob’s life. His playing began to develop whilst studying at the Robert Smyth Academy, where he was involved with three award-winning ensembles – their Soul Band, Big Band and Jazz Band – including four tours of Denmark, Venice, Belgium and Barcelona. He also cultivated musical interests outside of school, performing regularly in his hometown of Leicester with Trilogy, a blues trio. Two years ago, they released their first EP, Pocketwatch, on streaming websites and as a CD. Currently he’s based in Manchester, attending the prestigious Royal Northern College of Music.

George Purnell is a Manchester based drummer, originally from Oxford. Currently studying at the Royal Northern Collage of Music, he is actively playing with multiple other artists including ASTRI and Greyhound, as well as his hometown band Catgod. His early influences as a drummer come from extensive listening of indie rock/alternative bands such as Foals, Arctic Monkeys and Bombay Bicycle club. However, more recently electronic music (Flume, Boards of Canada, Bonobo etc.) genres and hip-hop artists (Kendrick Lamar, Earl Sweatshirt, MF DOOM etc.) have steadily weaved themselves into his engaging style.
